The shotguns in this game are so satisfying.

I'm not sure which one I like more between the Streik and the Contek, but I'm definitely not a fan of the Bonebreaker. Engineer as a whole kind of seems like a weird perk compared to Support Specialist from KF1/2 at least in the brief time I've put into it so far, but the guns feel amazing as always.

Halloween 2026

I really hope that I’ve just gotten the wrong idea here, but are the only “new” weapons bein added to the update the single wield gunslinger weapons?

Okay i'm triggering so much right know - Help

I just bought Killing Floor 3. I completed the tutorial without any problems, but now whenever I try to play SOLO, right after the end of the first wave, I always get a Network Connection Error 5.

I have already changed my DNS settings and also cleared my network cache.

What else can I do?

Sillhouette

For context, I was playing solo on Ashwood Asylum, remember, playing solo, and when I was in like wave 5-7 ish while killing two gorefasts I saw a sillhouette of a man

I figured it was the shadow of the gorefast itself but when the last gorefast died, the shadow is still there

This is the second time it happened, the first one the sillhouette was far away from the final scrake I was killing infront of the asylum's front gate

Does this happen to anyone else? Or just a game Easter egg?

Engineer HoE solo suggestions

Prior to the latest patch, for my solo HoE runs with Engi I would run contek for first 1-2 rounds followed by the bonebreaker until boss round. Both with explosive rounds and utilizing full blast perk. Since both the perk and explosive rounds were nerfed some, wasn’t sure if perhaps scatter plot perk with buckshot on contek, incinderary rounds on bonebreaker was now better? Explosive rounds still good? Or do people use other weapons for rounds 3-5? I tend to have the most issue on round 5 with groups of fleshpounds/scrakes. Appreciate any advice and suggested weapon builds!

Not gaining XP from matches

Wanted to make a reddit account to ask if anyone has a solution for this. I recently picked up Killing Floor 2 since it was on sale and decided to try it out but I can’t even progress? I gain levels during matches but when I return to the lobby its all gone. I’m on xbox if that makes a difference. It’s a fun game, and it’d be a shame if I can’t even progress and gain perks.

I hope we get attachment variants, it would be nice to have more fine-tuning for different playstyles.

I like the idea of 'powered' mags that the Knightsbridge and Desert Eagles have, and more guns should have them - they would likely serve as actual alternatives to drums on Commando weapons where small mags are complete garbage.

But I think some variation in them would be nice too. Doesn't even need a new model.

New mousepad

KF3 comics are so cool, why not order a personalized mouse pad + KF3 logo? Hope you like it

To give us door locks and make every elite break doors even when they are open feels counter productive.

If elites break every door they walk past, the door lock should have a secondary ability.

To turn into a trip mine in the door ways or be a less effective lock.

I believe that by wave 4 or 5 most doors are destroyed and we witer use them in the first waves in small amount of enemies or we lose them.

Uninstalled KF3 Today

I'll definitely be back to check out the next big drop, but I'm out for now. The quality hasn't been there, and I'm not willing to put up with it anymore. It's a shame too because it's not the gameplay, the loop, the art, voice acting.. all the front facing stuff you'd expect to dislike a game for. All that's good. It's the little things. The basic shit. Button queues, UI, movement, performance, network, etc. Quirks like ninja gadget, getting stuck in crouch, DCing from the first game of every session; whatever. Literally almost every other aspect of the game.

Sometimes some shit works. Most of the time it doesn't. It actually fucks with the skill ceiling, which is irritating beyond belief. Things that can easily be fixed remain broken over a year after launch. And the rate that fixes, content, and communication drops is simply abysmal.

I gave it a good, long run. I'm good now. I have better things to do with my time. Better games to play. Hell, I might even touch some grass.

A quick idea to make the Husks more visible.

I've heard complaints that Husks are too gray and easy to lose in the envoirment/large groups, especially for how dangerous they are.

So I decided to slightly alter their design to make them more visible by giving the glowing burn scars similar to KF1/2 Husks, a glowing cannon (again like KF1/2), and also an engraved glowing Horzine logo on the back and front.

Thoughts?

I've been playing KF1 recently and i've forgotten about how hard it was, lol

I have all perks on level 6 and i still can't get past wave 8 on hard, while on KF2 i used to go through suicidal solo without much trouble. Old games sure don't f around with difficulty, lmao.

What is your Favorite KF aesthetic?

My personal favorite is the grimy KF 1 aesthetic, it had a very cohesive visual style that made every still image from the game look like something from a horror movie, very good tone, textures, atmosphere, use of color, overall great looking game IMO, Kf 2 is ok but leaned a bit too far into the sci fi aesthetic the game retained some grime and was very bloody but felt visually conflicting and cluttered, and KF 3 went too far into sci-fi - cyberpunk aesthetic that feels a bit drab for me
