I really hope that I’ve just gotten the wrong idea here, but are the only “new” weapons bein added to the update the single wield gunslinger weapons?

Are these pistols based off somethin from the real world? Can’t tell what type of pistols these are supposed to resemble

To make the most out of the explosive shells for the Bonebreaker, will I need to be using the Scatter Plot skill or the Full Blast skill?
