Did you enjoy 4?

Did you enjoy 4 compared to the others? I'm thinking about getting it, I don't know why it looks a little bit bland and uninspired to me, but I could be wrong.

It's on sale now, so I'm thinking about it.

Do you think super deluxe edition is worth it? It's 50% off and so is the base game.

I don’t care so much about the story, it’s more about gameplay, gunplay, and the overall loop and whether it’s addicting or not for me. Thanks

Am I wrong for thinking Borderlands 3 is more fun than 4?

I was thinking about how much fun I had playing BL3 than 4. I realized that rI would be more inclined to play 3 multiple times before even finishing my FIRST playthrough of BL4. Whenever I go on 3, I can play for hours on end, meanwhile I can barely play 30 minutes of BL4. I just feel like BL4 is boring to play, and I was hyping this game up months before release. I just want to know what other people think. I want to continue playing BL4, but it honestly feels like a chore to play now.

Which Borderlands 4 Class Is the Most Fun for a Moze Player?

I played Borderlands 3 in the past and chose FL4K because I thought his pets were really cool, especially since I prefer playing offline and solo without other people.

The problem was that he always felt pretty weak to me. I only finished the main story and never played the DLCs or completed all the side missions.

After a few years, I decided to play Borderlands 3 again, this time as Moze. I remember trying her when the game first came out, and it felt terrible—probably because I had no idea how to use her skills properly.

But now? Holy shit, she’s insane. Her mech is one of the coolest abilities in the game, with so many explosions that the game sometimes starts lagging, lol.

I’d like to play Borderlands 4 in the future. Which class would you recommend? I tried the Siren, but honestly, I found her pretty boring.

I want something as fun as Moze, where you can spam your ability over and over again and destroy the entire map, lol.

Thanks in advance for any recommendations!

A giant step backwards.

I purchased this game with anticipation of revisiting some past characters. new worlds and vaults. BOY was I wrong. I play because I spent the money and keep telling myself it will get better. NO it does not.Getting missions completed is frustrating at lease and the map is a joke. Gun selection is like in BL 3 and that sucked. BL 2 had gun selection at its best. The story line is lame. Most of the Bosses are way above my level so I must grind and grind and grind some more. All fights and bosses I have only had one good drop with a legendary and that was a (my favorite) a sniper rifle. If I had know now I most likey would not have waster my money nor time on this game. I love Borderlands I have all of them and play 2 and 3 over and over just to remember how good they were. Most game creators (IMO) go over board and make things more complicated than need be. Gaming is to be challenging BUT fun to play so it keeps bring you back to it. BL 4 has lost it Charm with no Sanctuary it not Borderlands. Many things in this game is a turn off. At this game should be the last of its series.

Time Keeper, Handsome Jack and Calypso Twins

I finishend another Run of borderlands 4 and it caused me to come to two conclusions being one the new vault hunters are more compassionate then the last groups and that no one can top handsome jack as a villain. the first one is a whole different discussion.

The Calypso twins were lack luster but i did enjoy them, and after the second Tales game with how they massacred my boy Rhys i had low hopes for 4 but the Time keeper was a great villain while things could have been done better or differently i was extremely happy with it which brings me to handsome jack.

Handsome jack simply cant be beat he was simply too good so when people kept saying that borderlands in terms of it villains will never make a villain as good as Jack simply don't understand. Jack in terms of story and as a Villain is the peak of Borderlands, we can be on Borderlands 8, gear box can write a perfect story and perfect Villain and they would still be second fiddle to Jack. Gearbox set the bar so HIGH with Jack that even if they fix everyone of their problems they have in their gameplay, story and villains people would still complain it wasn't as good as 2 and Jack.

In BL2, on a 3-player splitscreen, how do you control who gets the bigger side?

My best friend has terrible vision problems but back when we used to play the game always gave me the bigger side of the screen vs my two pals. Is there a way to switch who gets that side? We're thinking of starting a new run again after all these years with a new pal and I thought I'd ask before we start again so we don't end up with her in the tiny corner of the screen.

What legendary do you keep getting ALL THE TIME?

Ok, I swear, I got 2 or 3 Equalizers literally in the last couple hours just running around normally. At least one is explosive.

Lore question regarding New-U stations

Currently playing Bunkers and Badasses with some friends and we're playing a mafia themed game. One of us brought up a question regarding respawning and how we could really ruin someone's day forever.

What would happen if you forcefed someone a container of orbeez? They obviously don't kill instantly, they slowly expand and cause blockages. Would the person respawn with the almost full-size water beads ready to take them out again in a never ending loop of agony? Because you respawn with whatever gear and clothing you had, and if you have prosthetics or implants it keeps those too. Our BM just kinda gave a shoulder shrug so I figured I'd bring the question here.

Is Borderlands 4: Super Deluxe Edition is worth it in July 2026?

It's on sale and I'm debating on purchasing it, but there's no recent reviews for it.

Is there any way to play Borderlands 2 with more than 4 people in 2026?

Hi, I have a group of friends and we want to play Borderlands 2, but there are six of us. I was looking for a way to play with more players, but the methods I found are over nine years old and stopped working after the update. Is there any way to play with more people nowadays?

So, just after a killed Sledge I noticed that I don't have any fast travels, Is this supposed to happen?

I am on my second playtrough, and only the DLC maps are avaliable on the fast travel stations, is that right or is it some bug?

Guns in Borderlands 3 and 4 lack the bite of BL2.

I'm not posting this in the BL sub because I think I'll get down voted to oblivion. I've really struggled to get into the latest BLs, despite them being so much better on paper.

I finally realized it's because BL guns seem to steer way more into the Sci fi category of energy weapons, gimmick guns, and other novelties. The new guns don't feel as punchy or visceral as I remember from bl2.

It's like 2k got bored with good old fashioned machine guns and power shotguns. Sure a pistol with a 4x scope that shoots tasers is fun sometimes. But the percentage of those kinds of guns feels too high.

I miss the old bandit weapons with massive clips and the vlad assualt rifles with their incredible sound design and muzzle flashes. Yeah, they're still around in BL4, but too many guns shoot colorful orbs and make squishy sounds, at least for my taste.

Does anyone else feel the weapon balance has skewed too far away for the 80s and 90s action vibe?

Hypothetical question for people who dislike Tannis' character direction in 3:

Hypothetically if you could pick ANYONE to replace her in inheriting Angel's Phaseshift, who would you pick?

I’m curious about everyone's thoughts, I also am kinda writing borderlands stuff and I need some ideas. I'm also...really not a fan of Tannis being a Siren, but I'll save a rant.
