You wake up one day as the person in charge of the IP. What will you decide to do with it?

What projects would you launch for it? Collabs and crossovers? Spin-off’s? Anything. You can take the franchise in any direction that you want. What’s your call?

After 70 hours! Ive done it!

God what an amazing game. Got me into beatem-ups. Need some recs after this. Ive played river city girls 1 and 2, river city ransom underground, Scott pilgrim, and the takeover.

Id love if they also had a straight boxer only too like Paul in RCRU.

I also completed mania+ all S ranks!

Id love to talk about my journey and give tips to anyone!!!

Possibility of SOR2 Voxel mod?

seeing this new Pokemon recomp voxel mod has really opened my eyes to the possibilities of future sor mods. Now, i preface this by saying i am a buffoon and have no idea about the technicalities, but would it be possibly?

I would love to see it. i mean, if they can make pokemon gen1 look this good, imagine SOR (hopefully would look better than this shit gen AI concept, but you get the picture. )

Blaze ready for battle at the start of every level.

And no, I'm not a 'Bot' as a bot couldn't post this, so get a life. I've seen some ridiculous comments on here lately by people who never post anything! And these are not AI pics.

Training mode is my way to go to have those chaotic pics

I love going through training mode and capture those moments. The more chaotic, the better 😂

Advice for SOR4 mania plus Axel?

SOR4, sorry to omit that in title. I've beaten every stage of mania plus individually except stage 12, and this game has annoyed me for years because I'm pretty good at the game but just always off from beating this mode. I think if I could go into stage 12 with a couple of extra lives I could beat it, but my approach to the game is all over the place.

I feel tempted all the time to just dragon roll and uppercut my way using iframes to wave through enemies, but eventually I'm gonna take that hit and the run is over. What stages do I need to be not losing a life on, and how cagey should I be with specials? Use stars on bosses? etc.

Am I ever going to be sitting pretty with a stock of lives towards the end of the game?

My spacing and general fundamentals are decent, not great but enough to play the game and hold my own in tough sections but again, the dragon roll stuff is just almost so tempting all the time in this game. Any thoughts on getting to the next level here?

Confused on Lesson 05 - Offensive Tricks 1

I’ve only played through Streets of Rage 4 once as Blaze on Easy difficulty and despite being bad at 2D beat ‘em ups, ended up liking the game a lot. However, the mechanics obviously confuse me because I’m not too familiar with them. My plan upon replaying after a lil while was to focus properly on what they’re teaching me in the Training section.

Now that I’ve provided context… what does the game want me to do here? I’ve read the text above, but don’t know when it wants me to hold square and how to use that for cancelling any normal move. Doing it after the third press of square is too slow to count, but doing it on/during the third press of square in an attempt to cancel the move doesn’t work either.

I am a beginner with this genre and I’m fully aware this is Reddit, so please go easy on me here. 😅

Update: I did it and don’t understand how or what I did differently…

Best Movesets?

i’m about halfway done with unlocking all the moves for each character, including retro, does anyone have a list of the best overall moves for every character, also including sor1, sor2, and sor3?

What’s one Streets of Rage 4 skill you wish you learned 100 hours earlier?

I’ve been playing SoR4 again and it made me realize how much deeper the combat is than it first appears.

What’s ONE technique, mechanic, character trick, or strategy you learned that completely changed the way you play?

I’m curious what everyone’s “I wish I knew this sooner” moment was.
