Roku app update introduced a bunch of bugs.

The app ran on my Roku express and TV just fine until recently. It never handled low signal well and if it had to retune to a channel more than once it would freeze. I could live with that. Now, since about a week ago, both the express and TV exhibit these issues.

Will begin to tune into a channel and the bar will stop part way and freeze needing to restart the app and try again. These are channels with strong signal strength that I watch frequently. It never did that before, used to tune in fine consistently.

The bar will make it all the way across and then bring up a blank screen. I have to go back to the guide and try again. This is also with strong channels that I watch frequently.

When watching a favorite channel, going back to the guide used to drop you into your favorite channels. Now it drops you in the middle of the guide and you have to scroll back to your favorite channels.

Channel guide used to always be populated. Now it says no data and then fills in, so you have to hesitate on each page waiting for it to fill in the data. I had never seen this issue before the last update.

I've had to do this a lot in the last week. Sometimes trying 2 or 3 times before it will finally tune into the channel without freezing or giving me a blank screen, sometimes it works the first time, maybe 50%. This is on 2 different devices and it started at the same time.

I still love the hardware and what it does, I just wish the software would behave. I don't watch TV too much, that's why I dropped cable and put up an antenna to begin with, so I use the PC or phone apps rarely. Not sure about those, I will test them today.

Going to retire next year. Need resource help.

Hi all, I looked at the wiki here, but there are so many resources and none of them looked like what I am looking for. I'm not looking for calculators or financial advice, I just want to know what I need to do as far as government forms, work, etc. I'm not even sure where to begin. Can someone give me the link to a step by step guide, if there is one. Not for investing or anything like that, I have that under control. I just want to make sure I don't miss something that I need to do paperwork wise. Thanks for any advice you can give.

I assume these are maggots. They appeared on my patio in the evening in a spot that was maggot free that morning.

When I walked my dogs that morning I used my rubber slip on shoes because it had rained. That evening, they were under one of the same shoes. It didn't take them long to appear. In SE Louisiana.
