My psychiatrist prescribed me daily Xanax and I’m anxious about taking it

Has anyone else been prescribed Xanax daily by their psychiatrist? I’m currently living in a foreign country, so I’m not sure what’s considered normal treatment here. My psychiatrist prescribed me 0.125 mg Xanax( zanapam) twice daily after breakfast and dinner, plus 0.25 mg Xanax as needed for panic attacks. She also put me on Lexapro and Buspar.

I’m feeling a little nervous/confused because I’ve always heard Xanax shouldn’t be taken every day. For people who have experience with this, was it temporary while the other medications started working? Did it help you? I’m just trying to understand if this is a common approach or not.

Best stores for thrifting? Alt/goth style

Hey y’all, I’m planning a trip to New Orleans and I’m trying to hit some thrift/vintage spots while I’m there.

I lean more goth/alt (lots of black, lace, leather, weird vintage pieces, etc.), and I’d love recommendations for places where I might actually find stuff like that instead of just basic thrift finds.

I don’t mind digging, and I’m open to anything from cheap thrift stores to more curated vintage shops.

So far I’ve seen places like Road Kill and Funky Monkey mentioned, but I’d love to hear from locals.

Any hidden gems or must-visit spots?
