Biotech/industry with a PhD vs MD

Hi everyone, I am currently an undergraduate studying Biomedical engineering at the University of Utah. My goal for the future is to end up in a high paying job in biotech, preferably in design or R&D. I have always felt that it would be a good way to contribute positively to the world, and I like working on projects that I can feel invested in. Because of this, my plan was to go to grad school after my undergrad and get a PhD. However, I recently figured out that MD's also often go into industry, and more often than not land higher paying jobs (in more clinical settings I am sure). I know I don't want to be an MD, as a lot of what I want to do (the whole project I can be excited about thing) would be negated by that. However, I am also a very sociable person, and could see myself loving clinical setting as well. All this to say, what would you guys recommend? A PhD is much less schooling time, especially without counting residency. I would be totally okay with a lower starting pay, but would there be a lower celling as well if I went the PhD route? And given a drier economy than would be preferred, is having the MD as a backup worth it? I feel like most of the time people get PhD MDs they hope to start their own lab in academia, is it worth it otherwise? And given I am hoping to go into industry, would residency be something I should do as well? Any advice helps. Thanks!

Push pull legs, upper lower help

Hi, I am coming off a cut pretty soon and am going to hop on a bulk. The plan is to hop on a pplul split, however the days my schedule allows is a little weird. I am a college student, so as you can imagine its busy. My point in saying this is the conventional rest days probably are not going to be possible. So, for example, I probably wont be able to do push, pull, legs, rest, upper, lower, rest. It will probably be more like push, pull, legs, upper, rest, lower, rest. I am wondering how big of a deal this is and if I should worry about it at all, or maybe consider changing my split. Thanks!

Hawas tropical help

I ordered this colonge from maple prime, and one of the main positives to it was it is supposed to have incredible performance. However, mine barley gets two hours, which is making me think it is fake. However, I have also seen reports it takes a while to mature. Does it seem real? Thanks

Window fan help

Hi, I am moving into a new apartment in a city that is very hot and dry. I went to the place last week, and noticed that the air in the apartment is very humid and kind of smelly. For reference, the place is in a basement. It is about 1000 square feet, and there are window wells, 6 total. While I was there, the windows were open and the air was cool enough, it was just rather stagnant which I think attributes to the stickiness. I talked to my dad, and he suggested getting a window fan (or a couple) to help get air flowing through the house before we get a dehumidifier. I was wondering what would be the best options for me? I looked at some videos online, and they all seem like they'd do relatively fine but I was hoping for some other opinions. Link is included. Pictures of the windows in the main room are included, they should be similar to those. Thanks!

Memory Foam Mattress on Latex Bedding

Hi everyone, I am 5'10 190 pounds with relatively broad shoulders, and I like sleeping on my back and side. Last year in college, I slept in the student dorms. I think the mattresses were spring mattresses, and we bought a memory-foam mattress topper for the top (I think 3"). It was great, perfect amount of softness and it was great support. However, this year I am moving into an apartment that I will be staying in for a while. So, I am now trying to find a mattress for there. It is in a hotter area, and so I am trying to find a mattress than can compensate from that. Based on what I've seen, I would want to find a latex mattress as they have the best cooling. However, I feel as though it would be a different feel from the memory foam topper-mattress that I had in college. So, I was wondering if it would be a good idea to get a similar mattress topper for a latex mattress? Would I still get the cooling effect? If not, does anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!
