UPDATE 220w Bifacial Solar panel stock/replacement

I’ve made a couple posts here now sharing my story returning a broken 220w Bifacial solar panel for a replacement and here’s an update…

They’ve received my unit, they’ve sent me 3 emails saying they don’t have any replacements and they are waiting for restock. Today they sent me another email saying they will not be restocking the 220w Bifacial solar panels at all anymore…

Like what the actual fuck is going on… how can they just take my money and then take my product too and say sorry we don’t have these anymore.

Hello Mike from EcoFlow please do something

Which wire do I cut?

I bought 2 cheap e-bikes from Bestbuy a few months ago and even for how cheap these were, they are pure garbage. Chain is rusting, kickstand completely rusted and broke off a month ago, brakes squeal like crazy.

Everyday Easy Haul E-bike by Everyday Bicycle. Nobody buy one.

Because these are trash for actually biking around, I want to try and turn it into a fun project. I was hoping someone would know which wire would be the speed governor? I can take more photos if that would help identify.

Edit: I’ve tried my best with google and YouTube, and all the methods with the LED screen, like holding + and - stuff didn’t work for me.

220W Bifacial Solar Panels Out Of Stock

This is partly a continuation of my last post..

I’m in the middle of replacing my 220w bifacial solar panel with EcoFlow. They requested I send mine back to them, once they received mine about a week later they told me they are completely out of stock on the replacement 220w bifacial solar panels and they have no eta on restock.

This has been a struggle for months now (they have my money and solar panel) so I asked EcoFlow for an equal or greater replacement instead so I don’t need to wait for an unknown amount of time. They offered me a 200w single sided panel, with no mount bracket. So a much lesser option than the unit I paid for.

EcoFlow customer service feels like it’s being run by really bad AI bots, they can’t recall what they said in their on emails and then do shit like this.

Out of stock and no eta, then offer me something cheaper. What a scam

Customer Service Review

3 weeks ago my 220W bifacial solar panel cracked. Only 1 month of use, kept in packaging the entire time in storage but one day it was cracked when I was taking it out of its carry bag.

First I emailed EcoFlow with an explanation and a some pictures. EcoFlow replied saying they will honour the warranty and proceed with a return and exchange. They said they will send me a FedEx return label, and that the return MUST be through FedEx.

I’m currently on vacation travel across Newfoundland in my RV, and we rely heavily on solar. I expressed to EcoFlow that there are only a few FedEx locations in all of Newfoundland, and asked if I can use a different courier for the return. They told me no, the return must be FedEx.

I put my vacation on hold, drove a couple hours to the nearest FedEx and then waited 5 days for EcoFlow to send me the return label, however they sent me a GLS shipping label, NOT a FedEx label. I waited another 3 more days for them to email a proper FedEx label.

It’s been 4 days since I’ve shipped them the cracked panel and since I’ve sent them the shipping receipt as they requested, and I have not received any email follow up yet.

I’ve wasted almost 2 weeks of my vacation, and spent a lot of money to camp near a FedEx, and I have no clue when the replacement will arrive. Because Newfoundland is an island it could take EcoFlow months to get something here.

I’m hoping the appropriate people will see this thread and can help with this. I do not want to be stuck near a FedEx for my entire vacation for no reason, wasting time and money.
