Got it while pulling for Bina's wep, is it worth building for Mualani when I already have Widsith R5? On paper, 88% HP passive is almost equivalent to Widsith's 96% DMG passive but it's guaranteed every rotation. If the ER substat lets me burst every rotation that might also make up for the loss of a CD substat. I hate how the passive has a 15s cooldown though, means she can't funnel Mona without giving up the passive for the first rotation. Feel like that might kill it for Stygian.

As suggested I went ahead and built the weapon to try it out. It does indeed let me burst every rotation thus is competitive with a EM/DMG% buff only Widsith. Did a dps dummy comparison and after 3 rotations Widsith was ~170k while Whirl was at ~160k. Short fight that ends on an odd number of rotations is best case scenario for Widsith. Whirl's dps is consistent so it will overtake on even numbered rotations and probably if the fight goes on longer like in Stygian, but I can't be bothered anymore with Widsith/PMC sac sword rng lul.

As for the cooldown issue in Stygian, I suppose I can just delay the first rotation a bit, and that's assuming the boss doesn't have mechanics which already do that. So overall I'm happy with this weapon, looks nice on her, using her burst more to see that juicy million is satisfying, and can free up Widsith for Varesa. Thanks for all the replys yal!

I think it's between catalyst cause magic like her magic wand, or sword cause it's physically the closest to a wand. If she's EM scaling then I'd prefer sword to have HoD as a uber good f2p wep, especially if the rumor that Odette shields is true. We may be able to find out once the 7.0 beta drops and we can get a look as those craftable weps. Eitherway, I hope Vanesa primarily uses the wand in combat and can actually fly with her wings (unlike someone kek) to truly be a fairy.
