I keep on seeing comments talking about ur race will cook u or something like that. That seems kinda stupid but it seems like there are higher standards that need to be met.

I get the hate for npos and some of is def justifiable but what about the npos that have measurable outcomes.
I finished hs and I go to a state college but my brother is a lot more ambitious than me and he founded an NPO related to his near death experience. He grew it out to 20+ countries and like 100+ chapters and like 1.5k members, they had some decent impact.
He is debating whether to put it on his common app, the whole fam says that he should and that it would help him while he says that it was never for college apps.
what should he do?
