Wind Ridge Trail Difficulty Level and Accessibility
Hi,
So my sister and I are looking into hiking a nice trail in the canmore area (can venture out) and we came across Wind Ridge Trail. Its marked as hard, but im seeing reviews that is it doable. We want to do it but a) dont know if we are able body enough to complete it, and b) there has been a lot of rain and closures in the area and I cant seem to find if its even accessible for July 2nd.
For reference, I have hiked Lake Agmes Teahouse trail 3 years ago, and Tunnel Bluffs via Lions Bay last year, both of which I found doable but took longer than the average person. My sister has only done Lake Agnes Teahouse and found it a bit more challenging, took her a lot more time to complete.
If there are any other recommendations with a good summit viewpoint that wouldnt be closed right now we are more than happy to hear about it!
Edit - I also wanted to add that I have heard there is a point on the trail before the peak that has an amazing view, and some people end up finishing at that point and then head back. Was wondering if that is also a good option for us?
