Auvelity and Adderall combo. Completely diminished all effects of Adderall.

Anyone else have this experience? I’m about to switch back to Trintellix or remove the auvelity because I am prescribed 30mg ER and I swear it no longer does a single thing for me.

I take it in the AM before my auvelity then take another dose of auvelity before bed. I feel like the meds are totally counteracting themselves and quite honestly the Adderall gives me more of a depression lift / general will to get things done than this med does.

Experience or advice please! I have also tried pristiq / Adderall combo in the past and that seemed to work better.

First period since myomectomy

Holy difference. Almost no clots, mild cramps on day one but other than that? It’s a breeze. Took about a month to show up and the dates are all screwy according to my period app.

Also- I had a huge hemorrhoid prior to surgery and it completely vanished ever since. Never considered the fibroid to be the cause of that, but it definitely was!

8cm myomectomy post op info for anyone getting one

I’m about a month post op and I just wanted to share how this went for anyone curious.

The surgery itself went smooth. Woke up thinking it was the next day, but it had only been 4 hours. They ended up having to remove one of my tubes due to it being entangled in the fibroid. Sucks, but it is what it is. Had a miscarriage 2 weeks prior, so I’ve accepted that maybe I don’t need more children.

Expected to go home that day but they kept me at the hospital for 3 nights and 1 day. I believe it was because after they removed the catheter, I was unable to pee on my own for the first couple days. It BURNED so bad when I tried and my bladder was very full. They reinserted catheter, removed it again and I was able to go on my own the next day. No problems going at home either. Going #2 was another story. Took me about a week to go, but had no issues once I did. Take your stool softeners, ladies.

Pain wasn’t bad at all. They gave me IV pain meds in the hospital and sent me home with a low mg 5 day script for a oxycodone, which I was able to stretch and replace with IBUPROFEN for 1.5 weeks. The worst of the pain was if I sneezed or coughed, or tried to sit up on my own. I was able to roll off the bed without assistance.

I did not have the option to bed rest after. I felt fine and was up and moving the day I was released. I explained this to my dr and the main thing is not to be lifting more than 15 lbs. or driving. The pushing of the pedals strains the muscles and you can’t drive on narcotics.

After leaving the hospital, I bled for 2.5 weeks. And it was A LOT. Clots, bright red, full pads, all of the scaries. I rode it out because I’m tired of hospitals and they said it was normal. Period underwear saved me.

Honestly, can’t even really tell I had a surgery other than I don’t feel as hormonal as I was right afterwards. I felt mentally like I was about to start my period the whole time I was bleeding. (Crying for no reason etc) Oddly- that and the bleeding was the worst part. As soon as the bleeding stopped, so did the hormones.

SO-
Aside from no longer being bloated and looking prego, I don’t feel any different. Scar looks amazing and the little swollen pouch that formed around it is now evened out.

I’m hoping in the future, after everything settles in my body, I will notice a change in my general health and energy levels etc.

Easy peasy! 10/10 do recommend. ☺️
