So I’ve been wanting to get a tach for my truck, but seems to be really hard to find a OEM one that’s not outside of budget so I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for an aftermarket one that isn’t super obnoxious
I’ve been wanting to get a canopy for my rig but I’m unsure about fitment, do I need to find a ford one from that year or is there any other ones that fit?
Is this the proper wiring diagram for a 1g? Because the “stater” post on my alt had a wire leading to absolutely nothing with the “field” and “battery” posts going to the regulator and the “ground” post has no wire whatsoever, it has worked for a year fine until now but it’s been like this the entire time so I’m just a bit confused on how the wiring works. (83 4.9l base model)
So I bought this truck (83 4.9l) a couple years back and I’ve been wondering what all these exposed wires are for?
I put a new top end in her and did everything perfectly but before I start it I’m just wondering how others do it as I’ve never done a top end before. I did pre lube the cylinder and rings but I’ve seen so many videos and different methods like dry or wet break ins. Any input is appreciated
