Hello, I recently bought a usb 3.0 express card. However it does not work and I’m using the hardened kernel could that be the issue?

Second post about this but whenever I compile sources or kernel, they always show up as dist or I can’t find the place to edit Gentoo-sources, I know I might be coming off as a complete newbie but I just want to replace my dist kernel with Gentoo sources Becuase weirdly grub is only using my dist kernel

I’ve been wondering if there is a 240hz upgrade for this laptop or wether I’ll have to invest in external display with the current screen gutted

Recently installed encrypted Gentoo and couldn’t be more proud of my self, but it appears that my cmos is dead and I don’t know how to sync time, mirror service is obviously screaming at me for being from 2001, anyway, how do I sync to the current clock?

Does anybody know how to fix this? I’m on a laptop so power draw is very important to me, not to mention, it’s draws around 5.5W when playing something when the CPU and GPU total 3W, why?
Idle consumes about 1.5W to 2.1W however when mpv running it jumps to 5.5W hen the cpu and gpu are using 2.83W - CPU and 0.25W - GPU
