Tigray Secession!! መገንጠል!💀What’s your opinion on this?

"We want to determine our own destiny."

"TPLF leadership has no interest in traveling to A.A or abroad!" - Monjerino
In a press briefing held this evening, Monjorino the head of the TPLF office announced that the Federal Gov’t is currently redeploying its troops from Western Tigray ( welkait) to Eastern Tigray.
During the briefing which was broadcast on Tigray TV, she addressed the U.S. visa restrictions imposed on "hardline" TPLF leaders and members. She argued that these restrictions are not targeting individuals but are an attack on the "principles" of the TPLF. However, she emphasized that the TPLF will never compromise on its core principles.
Monjoriino further noted that they have already informed the US that the TPLF leadership has no interest or intention of traveling to A.A or elsewhere outside of Ethiopia.
She reiterated that the demand of the people of Tigray and the organization remains self-administration and the right to self-determination. She concluded by warning that the US can only secure its interests by working together with them NOT by using intimidation against the TPLF. My Question here, does Tigray self-sufficient already? Do they think about the consequences their people will face?

Do you guys notice how new reddit accounts flooded this subreddit? 😂

Recently I’m noticing accounts less than 3 months flooding this subreddit and other subreddits, trying to preach the delulu government & Potemkin party’s ideology. I mean they have the right to do so but i was wondering why they are trying to condemn everyone who has the right to express whatever opinion they got.

Can anyone tell me the difference between wet/wot(ወጥ) and stew?

I saw some videos on social media when foreigners testing Ethiopian food and they said it’s wot/wet not stew & some say Stew.
So is there a difference? For my eyes it’s the same i guess.

By what percentage will PP win this election in your opinion?

I heard some claims that the PM strictly ordered to fixate the result in more of like acceptable way. They say he doesn’t want to hear 99% or 100% wins from 40M votes.
So in my opinion we will heard 95 - 97% win. 🙂

As someone who lives in Ethiopia, I really appreciate Ethiopian diaspora communities!

Yesterday i saw a post that criticizes/blames the Ethiopian diaspora community heavily and i wanted to say something what i think about the diaspora community.

The Ethiopian diaspora community is one of the Back Bone of the country in many aspects specially when it comes to remittance and different types of aid. the diaspora community send estimated between $6 - 7Billions to their country in a year. this money goes to families and different groups of local aid organizations.

So the diaspora community is way way better than the government in supporting the country's economy unlike some blames all the diaspora community for the ongoing crisis in the country. when i say this, i dont mean all the diaspora community is a group of Angels. there're some diasporas with specific agendas and call for the m3rders of innocent people in this country. but let's be specific and let's give our appreciation for the MAJORITY hard working, family and country loving diaspora community.

Are we on the way to create new Narratives in this country? How can we keep written documents for near future history debates?

Recently, i have been searching some information about Ethiopian history and i found out that some of the histories i knew from books and my education, are altered thanks to digital world. so are we creating new histories to ourselves? what's going on really? i wish i could say about the topics i searched but it's kinda sensitive here for some ethnic groups. 😄
