Account banned
So I've just attempted to use my EBay account to sell some Lego sets I don't have the space to display, all still brand new in original box.
However when | listed one I realised I used my UK account instead of my Aus one (I used to live in UK). I then receive and email saying I've been permanently banned from using ANY eBay service on all accounts.
Now I believe this would have been due to me listing a product here in SA Australia when my account is made in England Stratford upon Avon.
Me thinking this is ridiculous and due to a small error which can be rectified easily tried to call eBay or get in contact with customer service.
I called eBay Australia explained my situation to which the call taker was understanding and then he hits me with
Our team has made the assessment you're a risk to eBay and its community and are permanently banned from using eBay in any capacity again. Oh and we cannot state why because then you'll know how to circumnavigate the issue and resolve it!!!!!!!
That's like saying oh you've done something completely wrong, but I'm not going to tell you how to fix it oh and even if you do somehow figure it out it doesn't matter because you're permanently not allowed to fix it!
Call taker then has the audacity to tell me oh you have to hang up now?? Like what. We then sat in silence for 5 minutes until he hung up? Crazy.
