Reno Costco food court

The food court was being renovated and the original dated to be done was 8/15/2026. Has anyone been to Costco lately to know if it's open yet?

Denim Patchwork Duster with cotton lining

This is the current state of my duster coat using the Devon Duster pattern from KSgarner. I thrifted all the jeans that were 98% or more cotton. Because of all the seams on the inside were serged and then topstitched, it's a bit ugly on the inside so I wanted to line it with something fun but not too crazy and distracting. I went with a 100% cotton from a quilt shop, I believe a cloud 9 fabric from the hidden thicket collection and it was called "Magnolia". I made my lining the same size as the pattern but used a larger seam allowance than the pattern called for to shrink it just a tad to fit nicely inside the coat.

I'm now onto attaching the lining to denim and with how heavy and awkward it is, I'm doing it in sections. I found the shoulder seams and pinned in place the finished the collar and then worked my way to the bottom. I will be using a 1/4" double fold bias tape (for the first time) on the entire edge of it.

My question is how do I get the sides to not pucker or separate from the lining or coat? Do I need to tack down on the side seams? And when I start using the bias tape, should I start at the bottom on the back of the coat or somewhere else? Is there anything else I should be aware of before sewing things in place?

Dusty/muddy shoes

So I've been going crazy the last couple months with it being warmer weather and looking for my Chacos. I knew I took them to the burn last year, but I didn't think I wore them enough to get dirty and wore them after. Apparently I never even cleaned them.

These have now been sitting in a bag with other shoes for nearly 10 months. Best way to attempt to clean them? Do I do a warm bucket of water and add like a cup of ACV? Something else? Or just call the loss? They were fairly new before the burn, only a couple months and they're my every day shoe in the summer

Gynecologist without insurance

I tried searching but didn't find anything about who or where is a good option without insurance. I just want to establish care and get blood work checked. I'm not looking for someone who is going to push birth control or seem upset that I'm nearly 30 and have never been to a gyno. I'm neurodivergent and it makes me anxious.

Dmv status

What do we actually think the "24 in queue" means? Is it that I'm currently #24 in line with 23 people in front of me? Or that's how many total people are currently in line? I don't even think about the time because it's said 20min wait for 45 minutes. But the number in queue will fluctuate as if people are getting in line ahead of me when my appointment was technically 10 minutes ago.
