Made an under-desk laptop tray that sizes itself to whatever laptop you have

Hi there! I'm terrified, but i'm also proud, at my own level.

I've been running openGrid under my desk for a while now (big fan), and I wanted a way to hang both my laptops from it.

Problem with a laptop tray is it has to fit one specific laptop, so every one I found was modelled around someone else's machine. I made mine parametric instead: you give it the laptop dimensions and your bed size, it generates the tray and cuts it into pieces that fit your printer's bed.

Single or dual stack. It mounts with openConnect snaps into the grid. PLA is fine, and it's rock solid.

It's there if you want your own https://ouvrage.co/laptop-tray
I feel bad because it's not free ($4.99), but who knows maybe it can add some value to some of you.

Cheers

Farming tracker - useful or nah?

Greetings — so I've always found it hard to remember what I was up to after taking a few days away from the game. I end up browsing through my blueprints, trying to figure out what I was farming and, more importantly, what I already found.

So I've created this basic tool for now (granted, it could have been Excel, but I like the workflow). It helps me:

  • Create a to-do list of what I'm after
  • Remember where I stand and where the missing gear is
  • See what's left to farm from a particular testing station
  • ...so on and so forth

The tier system is taken from Method, which I personally rely on to find what to farm.

It's not currently public, but rather than assume people might find it useful, I thought I'd ask you wise people: would you like something like this? Or, unlike me, have you got a better memory and can actually remember what you're up to?

Thanks for your thoughts!
