Trying to identify an art nouveau lamp so we can properly restore it

Hello! This antique Moreau-style lamp has been in my family for many, many years, and we'd like to restore it to its original glory. What we have is in great condition, but we've never had the shades. It also has a conspicuous hole in the top of the figure's head which seems more like a socket than an artifact of its casting. There's also a hole in the base which appears to line up with the hole in the head - I suspect a rod could be inserted and run the whole length.

The only maker's mark on it is the word "Germany" in tiny letters stamped into the back of the base.

I've been told it needs glass fitter shades, and from what little I know of the style they would have been floral, but I'd love to figure out who made it and, if possible, what it looked like when new.

I had to edit the first photo because Reddit's automated filters took it down for nudity the first time, heh.

If anyone could tell me where to start, I'd be very grateful. Thanks!

ETA: I've spent some time on reverse image searches looking for exact-or-very-similar matches, but nothing so far.

Help finding the right cotton/rayon grosgrain for edge binding

Help! I need to find cotton/rayon blend grosgrain ribbon in ivory or cream with a width of 14mm, 15mm, or 5/8”. I can’t believe how hard it is to find… I’ve been searching everywhere and I’ve had no luck.

I can find it in Petersham, (which I can’t use), and galloon (which the hatter is concerned won’t lie flat enough on the severe upward curve of the brim), and silverbelly (which is way too khaki). I’ve run out of places to check and ways to phrase the search.

Any advice?
