I didn't go to school for f'n math, but somewhere I saw that May (in whole or in part) is halfway to Halloween. That was enough for me to be inspired for this month's capsule.

Did anyone else do a HtoH?

1. Alkemia - Samhain
   • A slightly bitter introspection of smouldering fire, tannic oakwood, raw whiskey, and smoky cedar.
2. BPAL - Sleight of Hand
   • Incense-tarred patchouli, opoponax, blackened cloth, frankincense resin, and black moss.
3. BPAL - Fake Banana in a Fuzzy Sweater
   • Because fuck it, that’s why. The heart wants what it wants…and this year it wants a fake banana in a fuzzy sweater.
4. Eliza Cosmetics - Black Cat
   • Basil, cassis, ginger, honey, galbanum; Grasses, jasmine, dry orris root, tonkin musk, Muscenone (powdery musk ketone note); Oakmoss, leather, patchouli, cinnamon, civet.
5. Fyrinnae - Good Trouble
   • Ripe cherries, followed by tonka, vetiver, davana, Himalayan cedarwood, vanilla, oud, and amyris.  Shake before using: this perfume is likely to separate, in which case won't smell as intended. This is not a sweet perfume, it has bitter elements and is intended to lean "masculine".
6. Hexennacht - Black Philip
   • Black amber, dragon’s blood, black musk, tonka, black oak, firewood embers, black currant, soft woods, black pepper.
7. Little & Grim - Beast of Bray Road
   • *distant howls*  Notes of soil, ozone, patchouli, cedar, wet leaves, wild mushrooms, geranium, pine, musk, rain.
8. Mythpunk Olfactive - Skullkin
   • Copal incense, masa, orange zest, aniseed, smoked cacao nibs, piconcillo marshmallows, gardenia, marigolds, and auburn musk (benefit scent for United We Dream)
9. Pierrot - Teratophilia - A perfume for monster lovers
   • Anise, oakmoss, tobacco, seaweed, ambergris (synthetic), dark spice, creaky fishing pier.
10. Sixteen92 - Lovers' Lane

• Rustling branches under a full moon, chilly air and faint laughter, drive-in treats and sticky cola spilled on the floorboard, an inconspicuous flask of sweet bourbon tucked away in a purse pocket, cold skin wrapped in his letterman jacket, the scra-a-a-a-ape of sharp metal on metal  [Released: November 13th 2020, Friday the 13th collection]

(also, I left out Alkemia - Samhain but didn't want to retake any pictures, so I stitched her in, it's seamless, you can barely tell)

Doing a rewatch, and I really love Yvie's lip in this look. This is the best picture I could find. It was a midnight blue with a little purple under some lights, maybe a duo chrome? And glittery. Hoping for an indie (perhaps niche) recommendation : )

Not for nothing, but it looks like Vanjie is wearing the same lip the very next episode! ✨✨
