The pokemon TCG 30th Anniversary Preorders are a joke. EB has priced items in some cases 200% of recommended retail. Hell even scalpers and resellers usually stick to 180% so congratulations EB Games. You're officially worse than scalpers 👑
I know I'm late to the party but geez! In the past EB games have quite regularly priced Pokemon TCG products at 30% above recommended retail (and paywalled the ability to pre-order behind Plus membership) which I wasn't thrilled with but as one of the few sites that has decent protection against botting I could stomach it. Now with the absolute joke of pricing ETB's (a $99 product) at $200 this is too far.
Also another thing I'm fuming over is the 30th Anniversary mini tins (which were marked as EB Games exclusives). There are 10 design variations and the limit was 1 per customer? Really EB? In the past where there have been variations they'd sometimes up the 1 per person count but stuff the customer I guess.
Long story short, for any products I can snag on pre-order with a competitor, you better believe I'm cancelling the EB preorder for it. I'm hitting up their website with a complaint for sure.
Little bit of last pack magic at tonight's pre-release. She's beautiful boys, as far as I can see perfectly centered. I don't grade but if I did ooooooh boy this would be the one.
