Are people getting slower in making marketing decisions over time?

When I began learning marketing, I thought experience would make everything easier. It has in some ways but in some ways I've experienced the opposite. The more I learn, the more I find myself second guessing things because there are so many different ways that could work. Sometimes I think beginners are faster, because they don't think too much of every decision.

Does anyone else feel this way? Am I the only one?

What is one admin task you have found a way to spend less time on?

When I started running everything myself, I thought the biggest projects would take up most of my time. I was wrong. It was all the little things that kept interrupting the day. Replying to emails, chasing people for answers, updating documents, scheduling calls. none of them felt like much on their own, but together they easily ate up a few hours. I have been trying to get better at protecting my time instead of constantly reacting to small tasks.

Has anyone changed the way they handle these day-to-day admin jobs? What made the biggest difference for you?

What is the part of working with new clients that takes the most time?

I used to think running campaigns was the hard part, but lately it feels like everything before the work starts takes even longer. Is anyone else finding that onboarding new clients is where most of the time disappears?
