How are us kiwi footballers supposed to develop anywhere near the same rate as players in other continents?

My last season lasted... Drumroll... 3 months.

12 games, of which 3 were cancelled due to weather.

Other countries have 8+ month long seasons. How, if even possible, are we supposed to get to a high level when we play less than half the amount of games???

Not sure if this is where I should post this question, but Im 16 and live in New Zealand and my dream is to play for Barca one day. I know no matter how well I play in nz I won't get scouted by a barca scout since nz is such a low interest place. However there are Barca camps in Australia coming up and I'm wondering if going to one of those and performing well would have a good chance of being scouted? What are some other ways I could end up playing for Barca? Should I just wait until I'm like 18 to move to Spain and shoot my shot there? Im putting in more work than anyone else ik and I'm improving rapidly but I fear it's all in vain since I live where I do

Lil bit more information about me, I'm honeschooled and train max effort for like 3 hours a day and then I'll do some juggling and technical things after, I play for an academy and might move up to a men's team when I turn 16 in like a month. I have a private coach who's an ex wellington phoenixes player as well as a 3rd division Spanish team. He has loads of connections and is trying really hard to get me to the next level.

Tysm for so many replies, I can't read them all right now lol, thank yall for the help it rly gave me an idea of how I could make it. I get that it likely won't happen, but I will never give up, there's nothing more scary than the thought of me laying in my death bed thinking "what if I kept going" and not being able to go back. so there's no point in telling me I won't make it ❤️ Any more replies on what clubs I should go for near me that can help me make it are so appreciated. Tysm to the guy who told me about man city owning Melbourne fc, I never knew that and it actually helps a ton.
