Hi everyone,

I’m visiting Florence 10/1 - 10/7 with my girlfriend. On 10/2, I am proposing to her at San Miniato Al Monte in the morning and then I planned to also do a celebratory dinner at night. I originally had Atto Di Vito booked for 20:30, but I’ve been reading reviews where people have said it’s not super worth it. I’ve also read Golden View being a tourist trap and Borgo San Jacobo’s terrace view is too cramped for celebrations. Do you guys have any recs? Budget is open a bit and we aren’t super fancy people. I just wanted to surprise her with a beautiful dinner.

My GF and I will be traveling to Florence from 10/1 - 10/9. We are spending the majority of the time (10/1-10/6) in Florence, and I will be proposing to her on 10/2 earlier in the day. I’m looking for a restaurant for dinner to celebrate that has great food and is perfect for a celebration like this. I booked the balcony at Borgo San Jacobo as a “just in case,” but I’m reading mixed reviews on the balcony itself (cramped or not worth it). Do you guys have any recs? I’m open regarding cost as this is a special night.

I plan on taking her to La Giostra for dinner on 10/1.
