Caraca for Baron!
Uncharacteristic, sure.
But is it truly wrong to elevate an Elf to the rank of baron in our Dwarven empire?
We represent the peoples of The Blockade of Fierceness. Yet we cannot decide if we are wrong to consider this.
He’s treated folks so well! Reelected for more than a decade of our fortress’ existence! He doesn’t mind getting down and dirty, working alongside our people in every trade and industry. Even going so far as to tear the wings off of an agitated raven that attacked a Dwarf child! He loves dresses and windows so much that somebody went and carved an image of cubic cubes above his coffin in his tomb to be! (Which I like to imagine represents the sand we’ve got to gather for his regular requests for windows) He never asks too much, only 1-3 dresses or windows a year!
He’s not one of those “hippy” Elves, who loves trees and flowers too much to chop or pick! And he loves a good drink and a rowdy party!
But would it be controversial to elevate him to baron?
He’s such a wonderful addition to the empire!
Something just feels wrong about it.. culturally..
