XP4 750w Weird peddle issues, Tampa to 100%.
Hi, I need some advice.
Background:
My bike was bought second hand. And left outside a bit. On its side... So a little rust on one side. Not a lot, very superficial. Really had like 110 on the odometer. Since I got it I cleaned, degreased, regreased... Derusted chain... Relubed... Ended up changing the freewheel and chain. There was sand or rust on the inside. Double triple checked that I got the correct freewheel and chain. Other than that I also had a small tumble... Had most parts replaced that got scuffed... The screen and thumb pad bottom got stuck... Replaced the thumb controller pad.
Now I've had the bike for about two months and not exactly sure when this issue started showing up. Cus it randomly happens.
The Issue:
It randomly gets super sensitive to peddling. I hope it's not the torque sensor. It gets jerky while peddling possibly picking up small feet movements as a full rotation and then the big one... when I just peddle casually it ramps up to 100% and goes to 28mph... Doesn't really matter what mode I'm on. It's so aggressive I can't stand up and peddle cause there is no push back on the peddles.
Things I haven't done yet to fix.
Factory reset screen or replace it with one Lectric sent me... I asked for a bracket that got cracked and they sent me the whole bracket and screen.
...
Things I have done to bike in general that might be aggravating it.
Over greased area inside the left crank arm and bottom bracket.
The freewheel and chain... (Doubt it) Bike shop that works with Lectric and other ebikes did it for me.
Changed some settings to double the cadence of the torque sensor... Maybe one other thing (don't think it's this)
Also don't think it was the crash. Basically turned wheel to much while standing and went tail over head no solid crash. Just from handle bar are basically got scratched up. Bike fell on me mostly...I got scuffed up a bit...also think this issue did pop up to some degree before this...not sure.
I read somewhere I should try and troubleshoot to find out where the issue is. Torque sensor or screen... Or something. I'll have to look it up again. But like I said it's like every second bike ride. Coin flip. One time it's good, next time it's not.
One time I cleaned my shock posts and relubed them and then just added lube everywhere. Yes I use the correct lube at the correct spots. Honey something for posts and park tool ppl for other spots and specifically at the left side between the crank arm and bottom bracket... The next day it did the ramping thing. Somewhere I read it was possibly over greasing that spot... I wiped it down to where I thought it was degreased enough... Did not use a degreaser. Next day... Worked great... Then 3 days later I tried again and it did it again. Maybe I just need to degreaser and regrease with a lot less.
Sorry for the big ramble. Any advice would be appreciated.
