My ibs D has gotten worse and I’m willing to try this daily. I’m losing my mind.

Anyone out there take both and are fine side effect wise?

I got prescribed this and am told to take 4 times daily. Once before an each meal and once before bed. I’m losing my sanity with this illness lately.

My ibsd has gotten so bad recently. It used to be once a week I would have a flare with painful crampy diarrhea. Now it’s a few times a week and it is mentally draining me. All tests normal including colonoscopy.

I was diagnosed with IBS 7 years ago and it’s only gotten WORSE. Initially during the beginning of the pandemic, I started having weird bowel habits where I would painless go number two every morning, but it was like 5-6 trips.

Fast forward to my grandmother dying in 2022 and my symptoms are now a once a week horribly painful flare. I’m talking, horrible 8/10 pain followed by an hour or two of relentless diarrhea. Multiple colonoscopies and endoscopies revealed nothing abnormal. No allergies or intolerance’s.

Anyone else deal with this? This once in a week cycle with horrible pain and diarrhea is exhausting. I noticed that sleeping patterns changing cause a flare up. If I sleep in too late and don’t eat my first meal until early evening, I’m asking for trouble with a flare.

I just need support. I’m exhausted and tired.
