Repost with better lighting
I’ll be 3 weeks on wednesday, and have been focused on nipple recovery through wet healing, but I can’t tell if my pecs are swollen, or full of fluid. I can’t hear the liquid sloshing around like before, as I had to have fluid drained from my right pec, hence the bruising, but I’m curious what swelling looked like for others at this stage.
I was drainless post op as well, which may contribute, but the center of my chest is bunching up and reminding me of cleavage, and it’s beginning to discourage me a bit. I know healing takes months at least, but I’d like to know y’alls opinion before I contact my surgeon soon.
I recently had Top Surgery, and my binder supply can go to someone who needs them. They’re mediums, however they’ll work well for someone who has a larger chest size than I did. I was a C cup on the larger side, and I wore these on the tightest notches and backwards for the tightest fit. (Backwards as in the tag faced my chest.)
Obviously they’ve been used, but they are clean and they don’t smell. Xuji is a cheaper brand than shit like GC2B, with new binders able to be bought on Amazon for about $25 before shipping.
I’m selling the whole lot of seven for $100, free shipping. US locations only.
Though if you want to buy one individually, DM me and we can figure something out!
I need to just get this out of my head as it’s making me so angry thinking about how common this fucking talking point is both online and offline.
I hate how de-medicalizing transsexuality, being trans- However you use the term for yourself- has become the norm. I’ll just be browsing spaces, completely off the topic of transsexuality entirely, and something gets brought up about it that then has people who are not trans asking the ye-old question:
“So why do you not need dysphoria to be trans?”
Or
“So what do you need to be trans if not dysphoria”
And it all falls back to “Gender euphoria!”
Euphoria this, euphoria that- And obviously non-trans people trying to equate it to idiotic analogies that are way too basic and not at all applicable to the context of the question.
I went on a subreddit that had a post talking about some meme that pissed them off, and that inevitable question was brought up, and someone decided to chime in and compose an analogy that equated being trans to “preferring chicken over a steak- the steak isn’t bad, but they’re like chicken more.”
This shit pisses me off so fucking much, because that is a preference. That’s a fucking textbook preference you just claimed trans people are like. Why don’t you just say everything is a preference, and I wasn’t born wrong and I chose to suffer. Great. Thanks.
I hate the concept of euphoria only, as dysphoria is what is needed to be fucking transsexual. You can have a preference in being gender-non-conforming- SURE!
But you aren’t trans.
But no, I guess I’m wrong and transphobic to these fucking people. Can’t point out what it actually is. Infantilize and make my medical condition more of a social laughing point. Thanks guys. Sorry I didn’t air my PREFERENCE being this way. Oops- I chose once, guess I can go back and choose again!
Unbelievable.
