Jaguar's lack of sustain: pickups or scale length?
I love the sound of my jaguar, but the lack of sustain kills me. Sounds great for strumming but otherwise I miss jazzmasters. Would putting jazzmaster pickups in it fix this or is it just down to the shorter scale length/lack of tension? Would thicker strings or a neck shim help?
