Hi all, started playing this game yesterday to just enjoy some casual gaming once in a while. Did 2 raids and found it very impressive. Great atmosphere. Some random raider gave me a bandage. Destroyed some bots together. Perfect stuff. Hope will keep enjoying this for some time.

We (myself, my wife and by then 11 year old kid) intend to travel to Mexico from 22 December 2026 to 14 January 2027. For now the idea is to fly on Cancun airport and spend time in the Yucatán region a couple of weeks. We want to end with a 4-5 night stay in Mexico-City.

When it comes to Yucatán, we're looking for nice relaxing beach accommodations, but want to avoid mass (and often trashy) tourism and places like Cancun itself and/or Tulum as I've heard that those places are heavily crowded with too many tourists and somewhat are ruined because of that. We do like vibrant atmospheres, so it would be nice if accommodations are not too remote. I saw Bacalar as a possible option (even though it's a lake) since it still seems to be somewhat quieter. Isla Mujeres often pops up as a must, but I am unsure what to expect.

Could you please provide me with some relaxing, though vibrant locations that are somewhat family friendly? If what I'm looking for is a fairy tale nowadays, please also let me know :)
