Guild Wars 3 Monetization
I'm seeing a common theme around this community that people are excited Guild wars 3 won't have a battle pass, subscription, or loot boxes.
Am I missing something here.... Guys Guild wars 2 is NOT that well funded. If it was, we wouldn't be getting mini-expacs from half a studio while they built a new game.
It feels like there's a very vocal part of this community that doesn't realize having no sub fee, battle pass, or loot boxes will come with a Tradeoff.
I personally would rather have cosmetic loot boxes rather than the significant Pay for convenience existing Guild wars 2 (Inventory BS, infinite tools, infinite TP, Bank, makeover kit, Gold to Gems etc.)
CONTROVERSIAL TAKE: I prefer Destiny 2's & Warframe's monetization far over Gw2. Warframe did a MUCH better pay for convenience model. Destiny 2 omitted pay for convenience entirely
