View of Didargah in Upper Chitral

As received:

🌹🌹 Ya ALi Madad

Hello from Chitral This is Mastuj (upper Chitral)
This is where didar is happening) we stayed here last night in a camp under the stars💕❤️

Another testimony received:

Few more things about the deedar. Hunza valley is like a rift valley with a lot of villages all over the place. All villages are shut down 3 to 4 days before the deedar. The murids are than transported free of charge in cars, vans, lorries and buses to areas around the deedar where local families house them. The transportation is mind boggling. Ismailis and non Ismailis stop their daily business and volunteer their time their cars, vans, lorries and buses and petrol and bring them to the area. All the volunteers do multiple trips day and night. On the day of the deedar the murids have to be taken to the remote location of the deedar. Again Ismailis and non Ismailis start at 2am to 12 noon when the gates are shut. Then when the deedar finishes the reverse journeys are made. One army captain in Hazar Imam's protection team found out the logistics of handling 100,000 without any incident and he was gobsmacked. A petrol and diesel lorry just drives up and down the highway just in case someone runs out of fuel. There was a tyre pressure unit halfway to the deedar location. And mechanics are on call in case of a breakdown. And because the area is prone to land slides 2 earth movers were on call and they were needed. The Army Captain said any other Pakistani community there would be riots and chaos. One non Ismaili from a small town contributed 70 vans by itself. And don't forget the deedar location itself where volunteers worked day and nights for weeks in extremely cold and wet weather.

Passu, Hunza - MHI wore the topi 😍

Some testimonies as received:

“Yes the didar in Passu was just amazing. Everything was in English except the Qasedas. One hour delay because of terrible weather in Gilgit this morning. Because it was in English it was the shortest speech ever.”

“Absolutely. The Firmans are the same everywhere but this trip they will be truncated because of language issues.”

“Sorry the location was other worldly. In a valley surrounded by mountains all around. And Hazar Imam came by helicopter. And best behaved 100,000 persons I have ever had the pleasure to spend a delightful few hours with.”

“The Deedar nearly got cancelled this morning because of torrential rain all night and into the early hours. The carpets were soaked but everyone adjusted. As usual there were a lot of ithna Ashariyyahs at the deedar. They have to register same as the Ismailis. Shah Karim use to greet them with Salaam Alakhum and address them with a couple of sentences. Shah Rahim just said he was extremely happy that the communities live in harmony. So much so that they volunteer to manage the traffic in some areas. And on returning from the deedar they stand on the road cheering every passing car shouting deedar mubarak. And any non ismaili shop is shuttered for the deedar between Karimabad and Passu.”

Key points from the Farman of His Highness at Passu:

• His Highness reminded the Jamat that he is their Imam, and matters relating to faith, guidance and direction will come through him and his institutions.

• He emphasized that although institutions may not always be perfect, the Jamat should respect them, remain connected with them, and work through them.

• His Highness repeatedly stressed the importance of unity within families, among brothers and sisters, extended families, and the wider community.

• He said that when families and communities remain united, they become stronger and happier — and the Imam will also be happy.

• His Highness gave special guidance to the youth, saying that the world is passing through challenging times and young people must come forward with confidence and responsibility.

• He advised the youth to think globally, understand the changing world, and prepare themselves for the future.

• He specifically emphasized the importance of learning and improving English, as it connects young people with the wider world.

• His Highness encouraged the youth to pursue education not merely for degrees, but to understand life, improve themselves, and better understand global realities.

• He reminded the Jamat that Allah’s guidance is always available, especially in moments of worry, difficulty or uncertainty.

• He encouraged everyone to seek strength and peace through prayer, remembrance of Allah, and faith.

• His Highness repeatedly underlined that unity, faith, education, respect for institutions, and service to one another are essential for the happiness and progress of the Jamat.

Testimony: Northern Pakistan

Ya Ali Madad
Sharing as received

Sharing this based on a conversation i had with a local:
Read 1min 5sec

There is something deeply moving about what is happening in the northern areas of Pakistan at this moment.
My family is preparing for Deedar in the Passu region, where a Grand Darbar Mubarak is being held.
Jamat from many small villages are journeying together toward the nearby village where the Deedargah and Darbar Pandal have been lovingly prepared.

Families have already begun leaving a day earlier so they may arrive in time for this blessed occasion.
My mother shared that two or three families are being accommodated together in the homes of local Ismaili Jamati members. The travelling Jamat has been informed that the host Jamat will lovingly take care of food and accommodation, while requesting everyone to carry some perishable items and to *show special care and respect to elders and children*

The entire atmosphere from the preparations to the Deedargah itself, feels like a glimpse of Jannah (heaven) on earth.
Jamatkhanas have decorated beautiful entrance gates representing their Jamats, adorned with messages from Qasidas and Qur'anic ayas. Every heart seems to be beating with one emotion, one anticipation, one love.

Deedar Mubarak in the northern areas of Pakistan is not just a Deedar. It is unique in its own sense, not only for the Ismaili Jamat but also for many sister communities around them.
There is a happiness that spreads beyond boundaries. Volunteers step forward without hesitation, standing in rain and cold, picking up rocks one by one, clearing landslides and roads so murids can safely reach the Deedargah.

People from other communities who have benefited from the Imam's institutions also feel a sense of joy and pride because they too see happiness arriving in their region.

*There is something incredibly beautiful and humbling about the devotion of the northern Jamat. Their love carries the memory of hardships, struggles, sorrows and sacrifices of generations before them. Remembering their departed ruhani family members who are no longer present to witness this blessed Mubarak occasion, many shed tears as they await the arrival of Nur.
*Their concern is often not whether they will touch the Imam or wave at the Imam* *Their greatest desire is simply to preserve and carry their love and devotion deeply in their hearts* There is something in that sincerity from which all of us can learn.

I can only wish I were there physically, but my heart is at peace knowing that my mother will receive the Deedar Mubarak of the Imam of the Time. *She has been sending voice messages filled with emotion and deep sentiments and hearing them touches the heart in ways words cannot describe.

The northern Jamat flourished under Mawlana Shah Karim's Nurani chhatrchhaya, under His unconditional love, care and guidance. That is a blessing we can never forget for as long as we breathe. Yet the continuity of Imamat in Imam-e-Zaman remains an eternal mercy and a living grace. *His karam and nawazish upon us are beyond measure* * Even if we were given many lifetimes, perhaps even then we would never be able to fully express our shukrana.

> end of message

Padhramni Mulaqat
Deedar Darbar Mubarak
Our prayers are with you, always, Aamin ilahiAamin

Please stay healthy and connected Ya Ali Madad
