I like to feel that I am not naïve about Irish media and that they mix with power, but this revelation actually surprised me. Seems a bit odd to me for a journalist to be offered and accept a seat in a section of the stadium mostly populated by senior GAA officials, members of government, and visiting dignitaries, etc.
I am a casually listener so I do not know Rory's ideology in depth but from what I can pick up on he is a Tory who is really into foreign aid? I am Irish and there is just nothing that is equivalent of that in Irish politics, foreign aid is something that I would associate with the left here and I assumed it was the same in the UK so Rory's politics have me a bit confused! I assume there is precedent in UK politics for this type of Tory?
I am very tall and I have viewed a house that I love but two of the doors are low and I have to duck my head under them, anyone know if it is a big job (or possible to extend door frame heights?)

'far right talking points' is a very common phrase in the media and I often seen it applied to comments that are far less explicit that Ahern's.
I have felt before that who makes a comment is just as important as the content of the comment in terms of where on the political spectrum the Irish media places it.
I viewed a house in Dublin that only has access to the back-garden through the house. The house is oil heated via a tank in the back garden, in this situation, how is the tank refilled?
Would appreciate if anyone has experience of this ?
