"Show Remaining Credits" Option removed from Settings

I wanted to flair it as "Bug", but this is typically a marketing thing to keep you unaware of how much you're using.

Whether a bug or intentional, it is not appreciated.

Heroes Alliance #3 First 2 Pages

Hey all,

I've recently been on a bit of an old Super Hero webcomic binge, going through all the interconnected ones from the CrossoverLord era and I was wondering if anyone managed to save these two lost pages?

The first two pages were drawn by mrHades and they were lost in a site upgrade. A link was provided for a backup, but those are sadly dead now. All archives are from after the site upgrade, or not archived as well, so the Wayback Machine isn't any help here. The artist has also deactivated their DeviantArt page, which might have once held copies, and that hasn't been archived properly on the Wayback Machine either.

Any help would be appreciated.

Tragic Horror Adjacent Novel About Feral Boy Kept in Basement

Hi y'all,

During the early 2000s or late 1990s I read a book that stuck with me emotionally, but I can't remember the title or a lot of the details other than the climax and the basic premise.

A feral, non-verbal boy is raised in the darkness of his home's basement. Having no human contact other than receiving food. Rather than withering, he grows strong, crawls through the pipes and rafters like an animal and would sometimes watch his family from the vents.

While the novel, I think, is mostly from a female protagonist's point of view, his sister I think, it also shifts to a narrative form of the boy's experiences every now and then, which adds to the tragedy of the climax.

The boy manages to escape and contracts rabies from, I think it was a squirrel, and it goes in depth with his experiences from his point of view as he succumbs to the disease and dies.

The ending stuck with me, just because of how tragic and emotionally raw it was, but that also led to the rest being sort of a blur.

Does anyone remember the title and author of this book?
