General IT or Cloud?

hey guys, im currently expecting to start my IT coursework in a few months. I'll be eligible for a pell Grant for 1 year, but it likely won't be able to follow me the next year due to a significant increase in income for next years fafsa. i am ultimately interested in cloud, but I am unemployed, so time is of the essence.

does anyone know which of the two degrees would be easier / faster?

I have completed all of the gened sophia classes, and I am currently working my way through A+, and i hope i can have the trifecta plus itil done before i start the degree program. I have also completed all of the sophia gen Ed's that I can.

I know the job market is rough right now, but I am very willing to relocate to a few different places if necessary.

even if I did the general IT degree path I would likely still do the cloud certs on my own time and try to move over to that in time.
