Hi,

I know this has been asked before, but I am looking for any advice as I am at the end of my tether.

My mother died five years ago. My father died last year. In his will he left the family home to my sister and I equally.

My sister has been unemployed most of her life and lived at home with mum and dad.

I have given her two options in relation to the house, she can pay me rent for my half, or we can put it on the market and sell it. She couldn't buy me out as she is currently unemployed.

She is basically just ignoring me and presumably hoping I will go away.

I know I should probably contact a solicitor, but I'm not sure what to expect or even if a solicitor can do anything?
