God knew I would be too powerful if I had good feet. Do y’all have any recommendations for foot inserts for someone with plantar fasciitis? I have a pair of Lowa Zephr MK2 GTX Mid height if that is of any importance.

Tac-Sky and FMA FMC Headsets

Rigid Cummerbund
I have an FCPC V5 with a Defense Mechanisms Hybrid Rigid Cummerbund on it. I don’t mind it but I want something rigid that’s taller than 3 inches, even though 3 inches is perfectly adequate, maybe even above average some might say. I know DM makes a taller hybrid but just looking for other options. I do carry a decent amount of support gear on my bund at times but if a non-rigid isn’t necessary if the bund is taller, let me know what’s up. Only real requirements are: MOLLE, Velcro for back panel and Tubes compatible. I’ve seen the new Spiritus and that looks like a solid option.

Mardingtop backpack
Anyone have experience with this brand? It won’t be used often. And no, I don’t have Eberlestock money lol. Just need something mid that doesn’t absolutely suck. I have a dedicated backpacking setup. It’s just bright blue so kinda doesn’t do well in terms of not standing out lol

Sustainment/larger chest rig
I’ve been a plate carrier or micro rig boi for years now. I am also a cringe bb larper and looking into a larger scale chest rig as opposed to a plate carrier. I really don’t wanna spend more than 200, and don’t mind trying out some something cheap just to see if I even like the platform. The rigs pictured or what I’m considering, along with just building out a TAPS. I’m looking for any suggestions and I’m definitely open to any kind of split rig as well.

VFC Glock 17 Gen 5 Holster
Looking for a holster for my VFC Glock 17 Gen 5 with a Streamlight TLR1-HL (the harbor freight weapon light. 1 for 1 clone) preferably level 2 retention. (If that’s overkill let me know. I know next to nothing about holster retention) I would prefer not to spend Safariland money on an airsoft side arm I paid 180 bones for.

GMRS radio setup
I’m fairly new to the radio world and have a very beginner’s understanding of things. I currently have a a baofeng UV5G plus with a bingfu antenna. I have whatever 18-20” whip antenna that it came with. In my current terrain and environment it’s fine; flat and slightly wooded. I’m going to an event in Kentucky that will be in about 11 square miles in the wooded foothills. What radio/antennas would be best? Is there anything else should I use? I’m going to have to use a relocation kit to be able to manage the antenna. I’m looking at something from Disco 32, Comm Gear Supply, or CAATail Antennas. I don’t need to be able to receive/transmit over an 11mile radius but having a larger area of coverage would be optimal. I’d like to stay under 300 beans for the set up.

Milsim pack
Going to my first Milsim event. It’s going to be 24 hours and I’m deciding what pack system to go with. Would a flat pack style that can expand up to 18 liters be enough? I would mount it to my plate carrier itself with a system to quickly don and doff it myself (shoutout Summer of Bummer) or should I go with a separate ruck? If so, what size?

Looking for a good to go out of the box m4 platform for milsim events. I’ve been planning on getting a new AEG for a minute. Barrel length doesn’t matter since I have 4 different uppers. Preferably would like to keep it at no more than 750-ish. The pic below is what I had in mind.

Been playing Airsoft for 16 years and finally making it to a milsim event in November and I got a couple questions.
What are the essential for a 24 hour milsim?
We will be using GMRS frequencies and I’m looking for a good antenna since it’ll be in a very hilly and wooded area and where I’m from it’s very flat.
What are some items or equipment that made life easier or were lifesavers?
