I pre-ordered the game back at launch but am finally getting around to playing it now.
Given how massive the open world is, I'm wondering how people usually tackle it.

I've heard the main story isn't the strongest, so do most players just use it as a tool to unlock new map regions?
Do you find it better to just wander off organically to uncover hidden secrets, or is it wiser to push the main quest up to a certain chapter first?
