I normally use RustDesk when I support my mum across the country. However, RustDesk is apparently experiencing so many attack currently that she now has to log on for me to go online on her computer. She has no account with them and is not getting one.

Question: Which free alternatives would you recommend to use on Linux? She's on Linux Mint Cinnamon (X11) and I'm on Zorin OS (Wayland).

I reckon I'll run into the same issue on my youngest daughter's Windows 11 computer. She lives nearby so it's not as big of an issue.
