CoreElec & Ugoos Am9 Pro - Noob Questions.

If I install the Arctic Zephyr Reloaded skin, how do I make their menus appear, with movie posters & descriptions, actor details etc, when I mount my external drives?

When play a 4K Remux movie from an external drive (or stop one), I seem to lose the connection to my TV for about 5 to 10 seconds (the Ugoos is connected to an Amp before the TV).

How do I get a seamless experience?

When playing anything the picture seems way oversharpened.

I'm comparing this to movie playback from a PC > Amp > TV (using MPC-BE software).

Is there a way to reduce sharpening (apart from the TV itself)?

When the box starts up I get the screen called "Spotlight" displaying random content (that shows movie posters and descriptions). How do I remove that and instead show the contents of my drives?

Thank you.

Ugoos AM9 Pro Firmware?

I've just received the Ugoos AM9 Pro through the door.

Do I need to keep the default box's firmware before I install CoreElec, or can I update the box's firmware, install CoreElec, and then update the box in the future, without breaking CoreElec?

Thank you.

X2 - Better Philps Hue Intergration?

Are there any plans to add more Philips Hue upgrades to the X2?

i.e. more percentage brightness increase steps instead of just 10, 50 and 80%.

Maybe using the volume up/down to increase/decrease brightness in incremental steps (5 or 10%).

Or controls to start/stop Sync Box syncing etc?

Thanks.

4K Remux HDR10+ & DV - PC to TV Playback

If I connect my PC to a TV via an Amp. Is there any software that would allow me to view 4K Remux files in either HDR10+ or Dolby Vision?

That's assuming that all the equipment is HDR10+ and DV compatible.

At the moment my TV can play in HDR10 via PC, and DV, if I connect a hard drive to the TV.

But I want to only playback from my PC to get full audio effect.

I don't want to connect HD's to the TV.

I plan to upgrade my TV which would include HDR10+.

Thank you.
