Hi all. Probably a long-shot but anyone else here have a history of endometrial cancer? Mine was Stage 1 treated surgically. Because of this I was not a candidate for tamoxifen as a high risk preventive measure bc it has the opposite effect for uterine ca . Now here we are DCIS grade 3 ER+ with 1st chemo onc tomorrow and I’m wondering if there’s a hormone blocker that I *would* be a candidate for?

Newly diagnosed DCIS grade 3, ER+ after excisional biopsy for ADH. Heading back to surgery for margins and oncoplastic reduction and praying there are no further surprises.
I have consults with med oncology and radiation oncology Monday.
For those of you who underwent lumpectomy with oncoplastic reduction, how long did it take for insurance to approve? The waiting is KILLING me.
I’m also wondering - for those with a similar preliminary diagnosis, what were your onc and radiation consults like?
