Oh man, where do i start. Ok so for everyone who told me I'd be less impressed near the end. YOU WERE ALL WRONG. I couldn't get enough, i couldn't stop watching. I just had to see what happened next. I also wasn't at all disappointed with the ending, i did some searching and found out that the show ends right before a 30 year timeskip that happens in the books, so i felt this was a perfectly feasible way to leave it off. I ALSO HEARD THAT THERE WERE COMICS THAT PICKED UP WHERE THE SHOW LEFT OFF SO IM DEFINITELY GONNA BE THERE FOR THAT

Ok, so this show takes everything you know about scifi, everything you expect, and it throws it on the dirt and stomps on it. Time after time this show flipped my lid and successfully pulled me deeper and deeper into this captivating world of mystery and espionage. The characters were all so interesting and personable. Characters that were only established for a season will die and actually get an emotional response from me because of how well they were written.

My only real complaint is that Dawes got offscreened. Like what the fuck man, he was set up to be like this big villain and then nothing, oh yeah AND WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO STAR HELIX?? Did they just stop operating after s1?

And i keep telling this kid, i said "Kid, watch those doors and corners. If you go into the room too fast...."

So as you know im watching the expanse, and I've just got to a part where you see a couple shipping containers that clearly say FEDEX on them, and i just came to remark on how funny it is that of all the companies i could think of to persist into the space age, Fedex is the last one i expected to see.

Does this mean they ate USPS, UPS and all the others too? Is FedEx now the de-facto shipping company of Sol?

As the title suggests, i finished season 1 of the expanse. I'M IN LOVE. Every episode has succeeded in captivating me in this world and universe. The set design looks amazing, the characters are well written and extremely interesting, AND THIS PLOT. I JUST CAN'T GET ENOUGH. ESPECIALLY MILLER AND HIS STORY. I'm a sucker for a good washed up old detective story, AND ONE THAT'S SCI FI?

I feel ill share a few of my thoughts with you guys about what I've seen so far

• The show establishing Shed into the crew and having us think he was gonna be a main character before killing him off was BRUTAL. I rather liked him

• Fred looks like an oompa loompa in space marine armor, maybe quitting the corps was for the best

• Amos is very... robotic and i can tell it's intentional

• Donkey Balls

• Naomi is gorgeous, i think i have a new crush. I just wish she wasn't british (thats a joke)

• I get Jimmy is supposed to be kindhearted but his idealism comes off very naiive for someone who is supposed to be a ship capitain.

• I NEVER EVEN THOUGHT ABOUT HOW ARTIFICIAL GRAVITY AND GYRO STABILIZATION COULD EFFECT SO MUCH OF DAILY LIFE. When i watched miller pour that whiskey strangely in ep 3 (i think) it was such a "WHY DIDN'T I THINK OF THAT" moment. My it made my scifitism go "!!!!!!"

• That old diplomat lady gives me the willies

• I cant remember his name. But the Ceres station kingpin dude? The OPA head? He gives me the vibes of a main villain. If he's gonna he the counter to miller im all for it. I already love him.

• All of the infrastructure and technology in this universe captivates me. Using plastic bullets for on ship combat is... GENIUS

• Lastly... REMEMBER. THE. CANT.

I saw the video game, The Expanse: Osiris Reborn (i think) at a game showcase and thought it looked intriguing, and i saw that there was a show. So i watched the first episode

THIS IS REALLY GOOD, WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE. I'm already hooked on this world and universe and i wanna see more!
