how do you wear pearls in summer without getting sunscreen and sweat all over them?

The usual advice is to apply sunscreen first and put pearls on last, which is fine until you have to reapply sunscreen two hours later. That’s the part I can’t figure out. If I’m outside most of the day, the necklace is already on, my neck is sweaty, and taking it off every time I reapply feels ridiculous. Leaving it on while rubbing sunscreen around it seems worse. What do people who regularly wear pearl strands in summer actually do? Remove them for every reapplication, skip sunscreen where the necklace sits, carry a cloth, give up and wear earrings instead?

Which pearl jewelry style has stayed in your rotation the longest?

If you were only going to keep one piece of pearl jewelry, what would it be? Necklace, studs, ring... or something else? Mostly curious which one has actually been worth the space in your collection.

How much can you realistically see in Giverny or Fontainebleau in one day?

The more I read sample itineraries, the less sure I am that they're realistic. Some make it sound like you can leave Paris, explore everything, have a long lunch, take photos everywhere and still be back before dinner. That feels... optimistic. for anyone who's actually done Giverny or Fontainebleau in a day, what ended up taking way more time than you expected?
