How Kotoko's voice drama is gonna go

Random slop I made

Obviously, it’s all jokes. Although, there’s a decent chance she’ll walk back some of her actions—the real question is just how much. Hope she doesn't go FULL 180 🙏, maybe just a bit of realism to her delusions.

Kotoko Theory

There are two ways that Kotoko's crime can go:

  1. Most of Kotoko's kills will come from those she considers deserving of punishment. It will likely be similar to Mikoto's case with the victim report cards but instead I think that it will be represented through the media and news. If this does turn out to be the case, I just hope that Lucky will play a bigger role than "just" the girl she saves. Perhaps she could parallel Kotoko's traumatic childhood (maybe) or they go fully on the protection of the weak.

This could support the theory as the blacked out pictures are all her victims

  1. Kotoko indirectly caused Lucky's death. This theory is the prevailing theory right now across platforms and I think that it would make the situation much more morally grey. I personally believe that Kotoko is more innocent than what others believe, if you disregard her actions within Milgram. Obviously, she is more guilty than Yuno but I think less guilty than Futa or even Mikoto. So, if Yamanaka did create the crimes before the events of Milgram, I find it hard to believe that they would just show us Kotoko beating up some of the most despicable people ever.

Now, just to sum up what we know, Chronologically we have:

  1. Kotoko is a vigilante that hunts down perpetrators including those who scam and steal
  2. Following Kaneshiro Tsugumichi in the middle of kidnapping Lucky, Kotoko finds his 'place of operations' in a warehouse

  1. Strangely though, when Kotoko goes to save Lucky and Kill the perpetrator she is seen wearing different clothing. Either she waited to find a plan of attack or she waited for him to commit acts.
  2. After her kill, Kotoko escapes culpability under the guise of self defence because of Lucky's testimony.
  3. Lucky withdraws testimony and Kotoko is pissed (but not immediately when reading it?)

theory:
After Lucky withdraws her testimony, Kotoko goes into hiding as the agenda - of Kotoko using excessive force - is pushed by the Newspaper company - Senkou Newspaper, the one owned by the victim's father. I think Lucky goes to meet with Kotoko in which Kotoko hates her, telling her to just do as shes told. In the process of Lucky trying to re-release her testimony she is kidnapped and killed by the victim's family to prevent her testimony from ever being released again. Kotoko realises that she indirectly caused Lucky's death and maybe goes out fighting? or she gets sent to Milgram immediately after.

This would explain why she has such an obsession with protection of the weak. Maybe Kotoko believes that if Lucky never withdrew her testimony she never would have died. Kotoko would still be able to enact her justice holding on to the idea that "Useless Weaklings should just shut up and let me protect them!"

Anyways, thats it. Sorry for the crazy yap just for a pretty simple theory. I'm just so excited for Kotoko's trial 3, I feel like there is so much potential like.
- Why does she have such a strong sense of justice?
- How many victims?
- Who is Lucky to Kotoko?
- Does she see Lucky in Es in some way?
- Did she kill her other victims or only beat them up?
- Was it really accidental overkill or did she do it with the intent to kill?
- Is she actually mad at Lucky because in Deep cover she only looked pissed after looking at Lucky?

Ah, sorry for yapping again its my first every post on here
Last thing, though: Kotoko and Lucky's relationship is precious and so underrated its so cute🥹. Yea, it kinda went to crap in like 4 seconds but the head pat here...... And the soft singing with Kotoko telling us to "rely on her" 😔
