Where to stay? Family of 7.

Last year, we stayed at Big Boulder Lake, and loved the quaint neighborhood. Our kids could ride their scooters and bikes. They had access to the swimming pool and could take the paddle boards out on the lake. We were looking for something very similar for this year. We ended up renting at Towamensing Trails. However, silly me, didn’t realize that the bedrooms don’t have TVs in the rental we got, and there’s no central air-conditioning. Plus, after we got the address, realized we were on a main road and not in the development, which limited our kids ability to be on scooters and bikes. Considering we have five children (and we are blended family) having their own space/TVs is very important for my sanity. So we are looking at canceling our current reservation and rebooking elsewhere. Please give me the best communities that are short-term rental friendly, that are a little bit more upscale, that would provide private streets for scooter riding, private lakes for paddle boarding, swimming and off shore fishing??

Without revealing too many details, my significant other has full custody of their children. They are minors under 13. The other parent/ex does not have any physical custody of the children at this point due to abuse. It has been a legal battle for the last five months. It seems as though the other parent keeps getting “rewarded” for their behavior. Granted, these are very small wins in the grand scheme of things as the other parent will not have custody of the children for at least a year.

Due to their excellent manipulation skills and the fact they have hired a very expensive attorney, they seem to be living her best life.

Have you ever had any successful family court stories particularly involving a GAL, that allowed a judge to finally able to see through the BS of someone with BPD who now denies their diagnosis??

These people are diabolical. It is insane to me that they can be so manipulative and calculated yet can’t go get themselves help.
