19F 40kg lost and don’t know if I look better

Last photo is when I was 120 kg! I’m now about to be in the 70kg and under range

Third photo is me fresh up in the morning for good measure lol

The photos of me with short hair are the most recent, I have naturally curly hair and it was really damaged from straightening so I cut it off! I have a lot of trouble feeling feminine and don’t really see myself that way.

As for my nose piercings I need to swap out my jewellery they are took long xD

Nom noms 🌸

Hi everyone! miss Lila has been doing really well :)

Brekky today:

Chopped apples, finely chopped carrots and then little carrot sticks for fun so she can hold them

She has a small amount of her treat mix (hence the few sunflower seeds) and a big handful of pellets
As well as her fresh water and two drops of her medication

In the background you can almost see my baby boys, blue and JJ, cheeky little rescue budgies whom are very in love with eachother. (You may have seen JJ and blue trying to hold hands with JJs splayed leg)
for their breakfast they have very very finely chopped carrots, broccoli and their favourite crumbles (we ran out of other vegetables, but everyone is getting spoiled tomorrow)

Some adjustments I’ve made to our routine are our bed time. I was wondering if she felt bored so we have been having nightly singing and dancing parties which she loves! (As do the boys)

Lila’s feathers are already growing back in, she’s got some spikes and places which the feathers are beginning to come through. Things are really looking up for my little family, again thanks for all the support

Much love Lila and her Mama 💗🌸🐾

Hi! 🌸

Hi everyone, people have wanted me to keep updating on Lila :)

She’s very good, she has gotten the confidence to fly a little bit and I’ve been really encouraging her to keep trying even when she fails, I’ll catch her

Her papa (my partner) has been around all weekend so she has gotten plenty of kisses and cuddles and fun play time with us.

I’ve been considering crocheting her a little sweater because of the season and also just how nakey her belly is, she seems alittle shivery

As per usual she is demolishing food but I’d like to get her some blackberries as a treat for doing so well.

Thank you guys for all the love and support, it’s a bit miserable where I am in Australia at the moment so we’ve been relaxing

I’ll keep you all updated on this strong little pink chimkin 🌸💗

Much love Lila and Mýa

Mama keeps telling me I’m the prettiest girl 🌸

Lila’s new, adjustable and more solid Elizabethan collar came today.

I think she looks adorable and as much I dont like her plucking, her little belly is so cute, I could cry.
She is the most beautiful, sweet little soul, I thank the stars everyday that she’s in my life and that I’m her mama

In the past few days since seeing her vet and being given medication she has got her spark back!
Shes back to her dancing and chatting non stop and devouring food like it’s going to disappear

I’m really happy with how things are going I’m currently writing this post from under my covers in bed incase the light disturbs her… (it’s 2am in Victoria) we are mostly in our normal schedule and she will be seeing her papa later on today! We are going to spoil her, like she deserves 💗

Update on Lila 🌸

Hi everyone! I know the other day I come on here very distressed about Lila’s plucking.

Today we visited her vet and she is healthy all over physically, healthy weight, normal droppings, no parasites. The change in her sleep schedule really stressed her out, making her anxious. Dr A can given me anxiety medication for her, two drops in 250ml of water everyday for the next month. She has a follow up appointment then!

Her feathers will grow back overtime as she hasn’t done any damage to her skin itself which is great news, but before worrying about that I need to help her back into her normal stable routine. Bed time around 10pm and time to wake up at 11am

I love my baby, it has been really hard to see her struggling and I feel terrible but I’ll do my best for her.

For those who asked about her toys, she has been given two new massiveeee shredder toys with wicker, wood, cardboard etc.

As for her diet, it will be chop (excluding the broccoli her brothers get cause she hates it) fresh fruit and some nuts and of course crumble and pellets as per usual
(Though today she was spoilt and got some warm formula)

Thank you again everyone for all your advice and support, we are going to get though this! Much love from Mýa and Lila 🌸💗

Please help

Lila is ripping out her feathers, not preening but tearing them out. She has never done this until right now and I have no clue what to do. I’m so scared, I don’t want my baby to hurt herself

Hey guys! Need advice

Hey! So everyone knows ms Lila and she is currently going through her first ever molt, she’s been grumpy and itchy of course

Excuse that the bottom of her cage is a little yucky as today is cleaning day but these are all the feathers at the bottom of the cage, should I be worried? This is a few days, at maximum a week of molting and as you can see she is still very fluffy

(Normally I clean her cage every second or third day but I’ve been sick this week)

So much to say but so sleepy 🌸

Lila is really spiky with pin feathers and I’ve been preening her with my fingers/nails

She is perplexed by her big (but smaller) brothers and now that she’s seen JJ flying around so happily she’s been trying it herself! And now that her wings (which were clipped before I bought her home) are coming in with new feathers she’s far more graceful than her usual plummet to the ground flying attempts xD

Savour the baby noises, they won’t always be here 🌸

Here’s a tiny little compilation of videos from the first few days after Lila came home.

I know the little grumpy teenager she’s growing into but sometimes I really miss her baby noises.

So to anyone who has a little baby bird, savour those noises even if it’s a screaming static cockatoo (which clips I left out)

We should start a book club!

I know other people have mentioned this but would any me actually be interested in starting a discord server and getting together to talk about a book once a week?

Smiley girl under the sun 🌸

Lila has been super grumpy because she is starting her first ever molt so she’s itchy and uncomfy. I thought it might be nice to take her out for a little walk and she has so much fun.

She’s now taking a nap :3

invested from the first chapter

Has anyone read this? So far so good, I’m excited to keep going

Thoughts on Painspace?

I know that some people assumed it would be like playground by Aron Beauregard, and I won’t lie and say I didn’t assume that too.

I’m pleasantly surprised.

This novella was haunting, the story progressed in such a way that it didn’t give away the ending, and kept it engaging.

It’s different than Jon Athans usual work and as much as I love gore and blood this hit me in a whole different place.

It might be a poor choice of words but it was a beautiful way to explain grief and loss.

Hauntingly beautiful in its own way that I can’t explain, grief takes us to the darkest places aswell as mental illness and I think this story shows that.

I’d love to know what everyone thinks, I loved this book and I’d really like to hear what other think and what they took from it :)

I’ve heard great things about Jon Athan and thankfully most of his books are included in kindle unlimited.

I’ve got a few more books lined up after this one:

Woom - Duncan Ralston
Painspace - Jon Athan
The Groomer - Jon Athan
Made a monster - Rob Nelson
All the pretty dolls - Sam West
Cows - Matthew Stokoe

Aswell as the cuck by Aron Beauregard but this week I’ve read playground and the slob as well as their sequels.

I’d love some recommendations if anyone has any, I’m fairly new to extreme horror but I find it interesting and unnerving in the best way! Keeps me on my toes you know ahah

I got recommended this book and have sat down reading in over the last two days.

To me it felt sort of lazy, lacked substance and was the type of thing you’d read on wattpad back in the day.

Kinda like being as gross as possible for the sake of being gross you know?

From the start the way it would end was obvious but I won’t lie and say it was the worst in my opinion, past the dildo part didn’t seem necessary to me.

This book had a lot of sexual themes and without fail, each made me deathly uncomfortable, most of the description went into Geraldine’s vagina, which was described in such a vile way, a way that I have never seen anyone describe female genitalia.

I guess there’s a first for everything?

Aside from that it mostly made me angry, from Greg’s behaviour to the uncomfortable scenes where Geraldine would become aroused whilst thinking about or watching Tanya.

One part that did surprise me was towards the end when we find out Donnie’s tongue is missing, that actually gave something to his character after having him be completely overlooked during the playground sections.

I’m open to discussion I just don’t think it was very good.

My nana said they look like little old men, sure blueblue is six but look at that handsome boy!!!

Update on blue and JJ:

Slowly but surely I’m gaining their trust, blue happily sits with me and gets treats for it, JJ is much more shy but today he did nibble on millet spray in my hand.

When blue is excited he flaps his wings really quick and squeaks at me, it’s sweet like he wants to fly despite not being able to

Something I’ve noticed about blue is that sometimes his poo will get stuck to the feathers around his vent so I’ve been very gently helping him remove that before a build up happens and causes him discomfort. His dripping are normal by all means, I think his bum is just very fluffy

JJ spent today flying around my room, singing and making completely new noises which makes me think he’s settling in.

It makes me really happy to see them thriving.

Every day they get fresh chop as I bought this really neat little chopper, the ones with the string you pull.

It’s been super handy!

my cockatoo, Lila, is getting used to them but she is perplexed and scared of the two little blueberries with wings.

Thanks everyone for all your advice and help, I am over the moon that I bought these two home 💙

My splayed boy won’t settle until his boyfriend blue comes and holds his little foot.

It’s actually really cute ;-;

u/Lov3rvi — 2 months ago

I’m really proud of the boys, they have been home for a week now and slowly but surely they are trusting me more and more and being brave regardless of the things each of them had been through

It means a lot and I love them both so much.

Bonus pics of my splayed boy JJ loafing for a nap and getting kisses from Bluey
