Are retainer/aligner/denture cleaning tablets good for cleaning anything else?

I no longer need these for my aligners, but are they good for cleaning anything else or should I just toss/rehome them?

My son is very handsome but he makes a better door than a window. His favorite position is right in front of the dialog box.

CW weight loss and body talk

Hey all!

I talked to my doctor today about getting a breast reduction to help with my costochondritis. Per the medical group’s guidelines, I need to lose about 15-20 lbs before surgery. I’d love to get the reduction in the fall/winter if possible.

I’m already eating decently healthy (I could tighten things up a bit but I’m insulin resistant so my diet is already very low sugar and simple carbs), so I’m mostly looking at exercise to lose the weight.

Of course, the catch 22 is that the costo makes it really difficult to exercise right now, because ouch. I also have arthritis in both feet so I’m limited there. I’ve seen enough PTs over the years for my hEDS to know some gentle exercises, but nothing that would actually kickstart weight loss. (Yes, I have considered getting a full body replacement but I just can’t get any of these dang doctors to do it.)

I have been using the back pod, peanut, tennis ball, theracane, heat, cold, etc for about 3 months and i’ve seen a lot of improvement! I just don’t think it’ll completely go away until I can address this issue.

Has anyone been in a similar boat? Any ideas on how to exercise without flaring the costo?? My doctor said to check-in in a few months if I don’t seem to be making any headway but I’m hoping someone might have been through this before. 🙏

I have no interest in GLP-1s, crash diets, etc. I have no problem being fat but I gotta get these thangs swangin off my chest which means losing some weight.

TYIA!
