I know this is a gray area for this sub but I feel like I am pretty much making dimensional prints at this point from my blocks. And, I wondered if this was possible for years, so I thought some of you might have as well.

I put up a picture at the end of how these look as prints.

I am going to roll these clay pieces with a white coating using a brayer, just like inking the block. The clay will be a dark chocolate color after firing.

This is my first time doing this technique and I am not finished yet, but if you have any questions I will do my best to answer them.

This is a new project for me. I am going roll a white engobe layer on top in the areas that are not relief in the same manner as I have been inking original blocks for printing. And then fire them to Cone 04 as they will be wall hanging art pieces.

These are heavily inspired by "Swift Creek" style stamped pottery that was created in the area near my home in Athens GA.

I am learning a lot through the process!

One more session to go on this one. The Coyote and Snake portions are fully healed and the Weasel is fresh in these pictures.

This is a tattoo I created recently in a single sitting with a wonderful client. Black Vultures are beautiful creatures and essential to our ecosystem here where I live.

Simple and Elegant

Here is my son taking the first run on part of a new wooden feature we built last week on our backyard trails!

I am getting closer to the 500 of these I am trying to create by September. So far I have completed just over 200 and have another 100 in process. So around halfway there!

I am working towards 500 prints (I have 100 finished) and 20 blocks carved of a total of 50 I will be carving for this project (for a gallery show in September).

These are carved in Japanese Vinyl (Gomuban) and printed onto Rives BFK black paper which I have embellished with markers, colored pencil, and spraypaint.

I have a ways to go but these are such a joy to create!

I am working on a series of 500 original painted prints for a upcoming show in September that I am printing from 50 different blocks. These are carved in Japanese vinyl, but hopefully the similarity is close enough to Lino to justify posting here.

I still have a ways to go on this big project.
