Do the Akashic records give abstract or vague guidance?

I’m asking this question in the medium sub because when I ask about Akashic in the psychic sub I don’t get many responses.
I’m reading Linda Howe’s book on learning how to access the records. I’ve always been interested in this topic and I’m finally getting around to learning how to access them. I’d like to learn to read them in order to receive guidance that can help improve my life, grow, experience its love and compassion, improve spiritually etc.
However I’ve been watching some sample akashic records readings on YouTube and the thing that gives me a bit of pause are the type of info that’s received.
“Feel into your energy”
“Trust”
“Listen to your heart”
It’s nice and all but I was hoping it could give more specific, practical info that I can actually implement. This info sounds like love and light positive affirmations.
I was drawn to Linda Howe because she doesn’t come off too woo woo and seems pretty grounded and I was hoping that would translate in her teachings.
My question is:
Do the records give you practical grounded guidance you can implement?
Would it help if I took intuitive development classes to help fill in the blanks and receive more specific info?
