What changes do you think they should make

  1. No more sob stories - quite frankly I don’t care about the celebs or pros personal lives, what I care about is about is the dancing and consequently I would rather the videotapes focus on how the pro teaches the celeb.

  2. No Dance off - The rules are not followed anyway for example when they saved JB over Paul Merson despite Paul outperforming JB in the dance off. They should go back to 2010/11 rules when deciding who to eliminate, the current system of the judges deciding essentially means producer choice.

  3. 3 person finale with 4 dances, this is what they did in 2010/11 the key difference being each couple does a new dance they haven’t done before. This would mean the finale is less predictable and we see stuff we have not seen before.

  4. Ringers - They should be allowed as they enhance the show and gives us exciting dances. However, there should be a rule stating that if they are trained in a certain dance style they are prohibited from doing it as a couples choice. Lewis’ couples choices will always be an asterisk as he was already trained, that would be like Oti getting 40 for the samba.

How to Win Next Election

  1. Sack Ed Davey - He believes in nothing, he is destroying our party and comes across like a total clown, six years he has been leader and nobody knows what he stands for. Pathetic man

  2. Defend the Coalition- We need to stop being embarrassed by this as it was the last time this country had a stable government. We also achieved major victories such as Same Sex Marriage, Renewable Energy, Taking lower paid people out of tax, Pupil Premium etc

  3. Argue For Federal Europe - With Trump’s erratic behaviour and Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the only way Europe can remain competitive is united. Airy Fairy vague commitments about maybe rejoining a customs union will not cut it.

  4. Civil Liberties - I take pride that in the coalition we blocked the snoopers charter, unfortunately the current leadership doesn’t have the same commitment to civil liberties. The fact that Rupert Lowe of all people is taking the liberal stance on the horrifically draconian OSA whilst our party is advocating for more draconian legislation shows how far we have fallen.

  5. Scrap Triple Lock - The problem with this party is that we have become too beholden to what boomers think, this policy is unaffordable and an illiberal transfer of wealth from the young to the old. To save money scrapping triple lock and means testing wfa is vital.

Clegg and Coalition

Honestly, I am sick of the negativity surrounding this government, if we want proportional representation it would lead to a situation where you need a lot of coalitions and you have to make compromises. We got a lot of victories in that coalition as well (Taking lower paid people out of tax, pupil premium, Same Sex Marriage, renewable energy, blocking the two child benefit cap and other welfare cuts the tories tried to impede)

The fact is Burnham is going to be the 7th PM in the last 10 years since the coalition the governments have been unstable and chaotic. We need to take pride in that government and make it our selling point that we put party interest aside for national interest and gave the country a stable government. If we continue to be embarrassed and apologise for the coalition then we will never be a serious party again.
